Magnificent and ultra rare Art Deco Modernist armchair. Design by Hendrik Wouda for H. Pander & Zonen Den Haag. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak base with original black lacquered backrest and elements. The seat has been re-upholstered with red Manchester corduroy fabric. Marked underneath the seat with the original manufacturers metal tag. This wonderful Art Deco Modernist armchair by Hendrik Wouda for H. Pander & Zonen Den Haag is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. A real eye-catcher in your home or office.
