The Modernist look of this wonderful Art Deco side table or pedestal table by P.E.L. Izeren is also known in the Netherlands under the name Haagse School.
The Haagse School was inspired by the designs of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
The famous Dutch Art Magazine published a series of articles on Frank Lloyd Wright in 1925.
Well known Dutch architects of the Haagse School are Hendrik Wouda, Jan Wils, Frits Spanjaard, Cor Alons and Jan Brunott.
