Magnificent and ultra rare Art Deco Modernist sideboard or credenza. Design by Jan Wils for Meubelfabriek Eik en Linden Alkmaar. Striking Dutch design from 1919.
Solid oak base and top with one large drawer, two small drawers and two pull out leaves with original black lacquered knobs. The two original doors with original keys and locks in good working order have also the original black lacquered knobs. Jan Wils was also the architect who designed the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam in 1928. Furniture by Architect Jan Wils is very hard to find and highly collectable! This wonderful Art Deco Modernist sideboard or credenza by Jan Wils is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
A real eye-catcher in your home or office.
