Solid American walnut frame with the high back which is typical for several designs of chairs by Hendrik Wouda! Re-upholstered with black Manchester corduroy fabric. Marked with original manufacturers metal tag and stamped company name. This wonderful Art Deco Modernist high back side chair by Hendrik Wouda for H.Pander & Zonen Den Haag is in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
