Magnificent and rare Art Deco Amsterdamse School three seat bench. Design by Willem Penaat. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak three-seat bench with decorative hand-carved Amsterdamse School style elements. Original hand-painted numbers 1, 2 and 3 on the back rest and also the letters suppoost, meaning steward or custodian. This wonderful bench is in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Please note that we have another bench like this in stock also, so it can be a pair! A real eye-catcher in your home or office.
