Solid oak with original solid oak shelves adjustable in height. Both doors have a hand-carved decoration of a rooster by we believe sculptor Marinus Hack who made lots of carving for furniture by ’t Binnenhuis Amsterdam. This wonderful pair of Arts & Crafts bookcases by Jac. van den Bosch for ’t Binnenhuis Amsterdam is in very good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
