Iconic and ultra rare Art Deco Haagse School table. Design by Cor Alons. Striking Dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak. This wonderful piece of furniture was part of a dining room set with four high back chairs. This set was designed for a small villa designed by the famous Dutch architects Jan Duiker and Bernard Bijvoet. The famous Dutch architect and designer Cor Alons designed all the custom made furniture for this small villa in Kijkduin. In very good condition with a beautiful patina. Provenance: De Haagse Stijl Art Deco in Nederland by Timo de Rijk. page 41 for the set in situ.
