Magnificent and ultra rare Mid-Century Modern armoire or wardrobe. Design by Cor Alons for De Boer Gouda. Striking Dutch design from 1949. Original birch plywood base with the curved legs typical for the Mid-Century Modern designs by Cor Alons in which he was influenced by Charles and Ray Eames. Six original shelves, adjustable in height. This wonderful Mid-Century Modern armoire or wardrobe by Cor Alons for De Boer Gouda is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Comes with the two original keys with De Boer Gouda monogram! We will ship this lovely piece of furniture in a custom made wooden crate for safe transport when purchased by overseas buyers!
